THE GORDON DRESS TARTAN is a refined Highland pattern associated with Clan Gordon, historically rooted in the northeast of Scotland. The Gordon clan played important roles in Scottish history — as warriors, nobles and leaders throughout the Middle Ages and beyond — and its tartans evolved alongside this history. Presented here in its modern variation, the Gordon Dress Modern is defined by a white ground and a plaid pattern combining midnight blue, deep green and fine contrasting yellow lines.
