CRAFTSMANSHIP — Like all our cashmere accessories, this scarf is crafted from Grade A cashmere, the highest quality available. Sourced from Mongolia, the fibre is spun and dyed in Italy before being entrusted to master Italian weavers, renowned for their expertise in working and revealing the full potential of noble materials.
EXTREME SOFTNESS — Once woven, the fabric undergoes a finishing process reserved for textiles of great value, known as lainage. The cloth is placed in a large machine where, under the action of fulling rollers — once covered with teasels, now with fine metal pins — the surface is gently brushed over several days. This meticulous process has a dual effect: it compacts the fibres, enhancing the scarf’s natural insulating properties for winter wear, while subtly drawing the fibre to the surface, creating a delicate rippled effect. This finishing step increases fluidity and reveals the natural lustre and exceptional softness of this outstanding cashmere, with what we call a velvety hand — the signature of a true luxury scarf.
